TRIUMF Science & Technology Gala
Invited members of the Vancouver entrepreneur and technology community gathered at TRIUMF on June 20, 2013, for a social gala. After specialized tours of TRIUMF and our experimental facilities, guests attended two short stimulating presentations: one on the recent Higgs boson discovery aimed to quench guests "where do we come from" curiosity; and the other, an appeal to the technical side with an introduction to advanced particle-accelerator technologies.
