Leanne Beet

Leanne brings over seven years of research experience to TRIUMF. She majored in Biochemistry at McGill University and completed additional postgraduate studies in biochemistry, engineering, and data science. She previously worked as a Lab Manager within the UBC Life Sciences Institute from 2017 to 2024. At TRIUMF, Leanne is an Astroparticle Physics Facility Manager Assistant, overseeing the operation of several detector testing and characterization facilities in MHESA. Outside of TRIUMF, Leanne is also a Project Coordinator at BC Cancer working alongside Research Dietician Eleah Stringer to investigate dietary interventions that trigger metabolic adaptations with potential implications for cancer care.
