With 150 postdoctoral research fellows, graduate students, and co-op students working side-by-side with world-class scientists, engineers, and technicians, TRIUMF is training the next generation of science leaders.

Overview

TRIUMF offers an outstanding training experience for undergraduate students contemplating a research career.

Each year, approximately 100 co-operative education students from across Canada and around the world come to TRIUMF to take part in work-integrated learning projects that span the breadth of our scientific, engineering, technical and computing activities. Students will be immersed in a world-class research environment, participating in all aspects of laboratory life.

BCIT WIL Program

The BCIT and TRIUMF Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Program offers students who are currently enrolled at BCIT with access to TRIUMF’s unique cross-disciplinary work experiences to hone their skills and gain hands-on experience at a world-leading science facility.
