Global Physics Photowalk

TRIUMF is once again joining the international Global Physics Photowalk initiative and hosted the TRIUMF Physics Photowalk on May 12, 2025. 

The TRIUMF Physics Photowalk welcomed a pre-selected group of photographers to journey ‘behind-the-fence’ at TRIUMF’s Vancouver campus to capture images of our world-unique particle accelerator infrastructure and experimental facilities.

Participants in the TRIUMF Photowalk will have the chance to submit photos taken during the event for a local TRIUMF Photowalk contest,  adjudicated by a local panel.

TRIUMF will feature the best photos in a gallery on its website; in addition, we will forward the top three photos from the local competition to the Global Physics Photowalk, organized by the Interactions group, where they will be reviewed and judged alongside photos taken at the world’s major particle physics labs.
