Through our commercialization arm, TRIUMF Innovations, our business teams brings new discoveries to market through industry partnerships and collaboration, licensing, and the creation of start-up companies that leverage made-at-TRIUMF technologies and inventions. TRIUMF Innovations identifies, assesses, develops, incubates, and commercializes technologies in collaboration with partners in industry, academia, and government.

TRIUMF spin-off companies
To date, TRIUMF Innovations has helped five spin-off companies successfully go to market, with more in the pipeline. TRIUMF Innovations helps TRIUMF startups navigate complex intellectual property management, assisting with patent filings, invention disclosures, fundraising, partnering and investment.
