Harry Lewis
Postdoctoral Researcher
Harry Lewis received an MEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 2018. He received a PhD from the same university in 2023 for work studying novel III-V semiconductors for use in linear-mode avalanche photodiodes. Harry joined TRIUMF in 2023 and his work currently involves the development and characterization of silicon photomultipliers for particle physics detectors. His research interests include impact ionization in semiconductors and the detection of vacuum UV light, serving the aim of improved noble liquid experiments searching for dark matter and for neutrinoless double beta decay.
