International Student Programs
Overview
Students from around the world come to TRIUMF to further their early research careers.
TRIUMF liaises with the institutions listed below to faciliate and coordinate research opportunities for international students. It is also possible for international students to do research at TRIUMF outside of the below-listed programs.
CO-OP OPPORTUNITIES
TRIUMF accepts applications from international undergraduate students each year for a limited number of internships and ‘on-the-job-training’ positions as part of our Co-op Program. International students applying for positions under this category must be currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution abroad.

“…no other university experience has had such an important impact on my early career outlook as the year I spent doing research at TRIUMF.”
– Viktoria, University of Edinburgh, TRIUMF co-op (2023)
