Overview
TRIUMF welcomes postdoctoral researchers from around the world to lead major scientific initiatives in support of lab’s scientific mission. With access to some of the world’s most advanced infrastructure and apparatus for research in accelerator science, experimental subatomic physics, and other fields, TRIUMF’s postdoctoral researchers gain invaluable experience in planning and executing experimental programming, training and building early-career research teams, and international coordination and collaboration.
Further, leveraging TRIUMF’s role as Canada’s portal to international ‘Big Science’, postdocs gain access to a vast, global network of partnered institutions and science collaborations, opening a variety of avenues and opportunities for future career development.
Graduate Student and Postdoc Society (GAPS)
The Graduate Student and Postdoc Society (GAPS) is the primary social and professional development vehicle for TRIUMF’s graduate students and postdocs.
GAPS is committed to fostering a sense of community among the graduate students and postdocs, and developing an infrastructure to support their needs.
