Bridging the Pacific for Science and Impact
KEK and TRIUMF have organized a symposium on Monday, October 25, 2010, to identify and analyze opportunities for scientific collaboration and partnership across the Pacific Ocean in the areas of accelerator science and technology. TRIUMF is Canada's national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics and KEK is Japan's national laboatory for particle and accelerator physics.
The symposium will be convened by BC Deputy Minister for Small Business, Technology, and Economic Development Don Fast along with KEK director Atsuto Suzuki and TRIUMF director Nigel S. Lockyer.
