Five-Year Plan 2020-2025

TRIUMF’s core operations revolve around a five-year planning cycle. This is articulated in a Five-Year Plan, a blueprint that defines TRIUMF’s vision and mission, communicates the lab’s goals and strategies, and lays out an action plan for the specified planning cycle and beyond.

In 2018, after extensive community consultation, we launched a new Five-Year Plan. The Plan required hard choices to be made, but the final result is ambitious and fully achievable. It leverages past investments by government and builds on the laboratory’s strong brand and global network to deliver a new level of top-tier science, training, and innovation to Canada for decades to come. Read and download our Five-Year Plan 2020-2025

Report: Forced and/or Child Labour in Canadian Supply Chains

Entities and government institutions doing business in Canada have a responsibility to ensure that exploitative practices are addressed and eradicated from their supply chains. The measures introduced through former Bill S-211, An Act to enact the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act and to amend the Customs Tariff (the Act), aim to increase industry awareness and transparency and drive businesses to improve practices. Certain entities and government institutions must submit a report to the Minister of Public Safety by May 31 of each year, and post to their website. Reports must detail the steps taken during the previous financial year to prevent and reduce the risk that forced labour or child labour is used by them or in their supply chains.
