On November 9th, 2017, the International Committee for Future Accelerators (ICFA) issued a statement supporting the realization of a 250 GeV International Linear Collider (ILC). The ILC would enable further high-precision study of one of the most groundbreaking scientific discoveries of recent times: the Higgs boson. As a so-called ‘Higgs factory,' the ILC would enrich and deepen discoveries being made by the Large Hadron Collider and the suite of upgrades the LHC is currently undertaking.
The statement was issued at the 12th ICFA Seminar held in Ottawa, Canada, from November 6-9th, 2017. Read more here.
