Welcome to the Data Acquisition Group
The DAQ group is composed of 5 members specialized in data acquisition hardware components, firmware, and software development, as well as data analysis tools.
We are responsible for the data acquisition infrastructure during experiments running or scheduled at TRIUMF. We manage locally close to 100 computers dedicated to data acquisitions. We also provide consulting expertise to off-site physics experiments in the form of DAQ concept, implementation, and deployment based on the MIDAS Software Package.
