Rikako Kono

Rikako Kono is a is a B.Sc. physics student from Tohoku University and UBC Visiting International Research Student (VIRS). Her main interest is nuclear physics and she is mainly analyzing data on beta-delayed neutron emission from a GRIFFIN experiment here at TRIUMF.

Outside of physics, she loves to watch sports, especially basketball, baseball, and soccer. (Vancouver is a fantastic city except for the fact that there are no NBA and MLB teams, but she is already hooked on NHL!) She is not only watching sports but also curious about sports analysis

In addition, she likes to play piano. Even so, her piano has been collecting dust for several years...
