Rikako Kono is a is a B.Sc. physics student from Tohoku University and UBC Visiting International Research Student (VIRS). Her main interest is nuclear physics and she is mainly analyzing data on beta-delayed neutron emission from a GRIFFIN experiment here at TRIUMF. Outside of physics, she loves to watch sports, especially basketball, baseball, and soccer. (Vancouver is a fantastic city except for the fact that there are no NBA and MLB teams, but she is already hooked on NHL!)
