Roger Caballero-Folch

Roger is a Research Associate at TRIUMF. He joined the group for his first postdoc in 2015-2018, and rejoined in 2021. His expertise are the measurement of Beta-delayed neutron emitters and experimental data analysis of other nuclear decays.

Interested in space and nuclear astrophysics since he was a child, he stumbled into the nuclear field during his BSc thesis project in Barcelona. Since 2009 he has been participating in experiments all over the world at facilities such as GSI Darmstadt/ Germany, JYFL in Jyvaskyla/ Finland , the Metrology lab PTB in Braunschweig/ Germany, RIKEN Nishina Center in Japan, TRIUMF in Canada, the Spanish underground lab in CANFRANC etc.

He enjoys playing music, thinking of challenges and sharing experiences with friends.
