Madeleine (Maggie) Berube is an undergraduate student in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo. She is at TRIUMF on a co-op term, working on DESCANT detector maintenance and analyzing data from a GRIFFIN experiment. She loves the hands-on aspect of working with the DESCANT detectors in the cold lab and in ISAC-I. Also, she enjoys learning new ways to use programming for data analysis and the satisfaction of solving a coding problem. Outside of physics, Maggie enjoys hiking, camping, and stargazing. She loves spending her weekends (weather permitting) backpacking in the mountains or going on trips to new places in beautiful British Colombia. |
