WLCG: Data-Processing Test a Resounding Success |

The Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) recently underwent Scale Testing for the Experimental Program '09 (STEP'09). With all computing activities taking place simultaneously for the first time, researchers are confident that the computers will efficiently analyse the first data from the LHC in the fall. |

On Canada Day, TRIUMF celebrated a triumph with the addition of three leading research universities as full members to the consortium which owns and operates the laboratory for the benefit of all of Canada. The University of Guelph, Queen's University, and York University all became full members. |
