Nine researchers from across the TRIUMF community have garnered over $750,000 in Mitacs funding as part of the research organization’s latest round of awards. The funding tranche supports the researchers’ work within several world-leading physics projects, including nuclear astrophysics experiments, medical isotope production optimization, and nuclear fusion for energy generation. |

TRIUMF co-ops take home Outstanding Presentation Awards at annual Canadian Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics |

As part of the annual Canadian Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CCUWiP), TRIUMF co-op students Madeleine Berube and Emma Raleigh-Smith were awarded the "Outstanding Presentation Award" for their presentations Detection systems and data analysis in the n-rich region and TIGRESS and gamma-ray spectroscopy. |
