Linh Phan is the 2016 FYSRE recipient, a first year computer science and physics student at UBC. Linh works on TITAN, the ion trap for atomic and nuclear science and is working on the EBIT (electron beam ion trap) which traps exotic ions to measure their masses. Linh works under the supervision of Carla Babcock, Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Jens Dilling, Interim Associate Lab Director, Science Division.
